There are many strange species inhabiting the World of Crescent Moon Squad. This section includes most of the beings you will meet on your journeys.

Crescent Moon Squad

A peace-keeping group founded after the Third Intergalactic War. Their headquarters is located on Earth, but their agents hail from all across the galaxy. They are known for their perfection; they have never failed a mission.

Apocalypse

A mercenary organization led by Bod'n, an insane war hero. They were once good, but couldn't compete with CMS, and have therefore turned to crime. They plan to launch three missiles powerful enough to destroy the galaxy. They must be stopped.

Red Slith

This is a land-dwelling evolution of the familiar Swamp Slith. It is easily enraged and spits fire at intruders. Mainly seen on Unknown #87.

Experimental Ghost Skaarj

A poor attempt by the Krall to genetically engineer a Skaarj. It blends into its surroundings, but it is weak, and it cannot stay translucent after death.

Aruiss

A high-ranking Skaarj who commands many armies. He has an inflated opinion of his abilities. He was personally responsible for the destruction of the CMS headquarters during the Tarydium Smuggling Incident.

Ghost of Aruiss

After his death, Aruiss' spirit wandered the galaxy looking for the one who killed him. He cannot rest until he does battle with that one.

Water Slith

Another variation on the Swamp Slith, this was genetically created as a decorative pet on Arkhen. Some escaped and have inhabited the Water Caves of Aruiss. Their bodies are composed of a gelatinous water substance.

Holo-Merc

Created from the DNA of a fallen Apocalypse soldier, these holographic training dummies adorn many gyms. One is also installed at the Crescent Moon Squad headquarters. They have limited strength and are mostly harmless.

Bod'n

This extraterrestrial mercenary was once a famous hero, but his accomplishments were overshadowed by those of Crescent Moon Squad. He drove himself mad trying to compete with them, and he now lives in his headquarters, waiting for his chance to get even.
